Proposal Form

1.* Mark fields are mandatory
2.Insured age should be in the range 18-99 years only
3.Vehicle age should be in the range 0-15 years only
4.Date Format should be in the format is 'DD/MM/YYYY'
5.Diffrence between Vehicle Manufaturing year and Purchase Year cannot be more then 1 year
6.Policy will be effective from next day@12:00 AM
7.Policy can be renewed 90 days prior to previous policy expiry date
8.once you filled the details and submit, system generates proposal confirmation form where in you need to accept the declarations and click on confirmation
9.Proposal number gets generated and the same is sent to your registered mobile number. Proposal number is valid till the midnight of the sameday for making payment and policy Generation
10.Click on 'Click to Pay' which will take you to payment gateway

Make Payment

Accepted mode of payment : Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / Wallet/ Cash Cards / IMPS
Payment Status is Success: Click on Success to print Policy schedule
Payment Status is Failure: You can click on Retry button to Reattempt payment

Note:
If Payment Status is successfull but policy is not generated, then Please Go to Menu-> Services -> Make Payment
In case of successfull payment System will Automatically generate policy against proposal number you have entered.

General questions

The policy covers the vehicle owner's legal liability to pay compensation for:
Death or bodily injury to a third party person for an unlimited amount.
Damage to third party property upto 1 lakh for Two wheelers.
Third party Insurance is also called Liability Insurance

Any vehicle owner whose vehicle is registered in his/her name with the Regional Transport Authority in India.
This portal allows you to take Third party Insurance for Two wheelers only

As per the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 it is mandatory for every owner of a vehicle plying on public roads, to take an insurance policy, to cover the amount, which the owner becomes legally liable to pay as damages to third parties as a result of accidental death, bodily injury or damage to property. A Certificate of Insurance must be carried in the vehicle as a proof of insurance.

Vehicle Inspection is not all required to obtain policy through portal.

It is the Scheme formed by the Central Govt. to provide compensation to the victims of "Hit and Run " motor accident. The amount of compensation is Rs. 25,000/- in the event of death and Rs. 12,500/- for grievous hurt.

You should renew your insurance before expiry of the existing insurance. This keeps your vehicle insured all the time against liability.

The policy can be renewed through online only through this portal tponline.newindia.co.in without any physical inspection of the vehicle.
The policy coverage will start fron next day.

In the event of an incident giving rise to a claim under the policy, the following steps should be taken:
Inform insurance company immediately of any incident likely to give rise to liability claim.
On receipt of summons from Court, the same should be sent to the company immediately.
Claim Form duly filled in along-with copies of Registration Certificate, Diving License, FIR are to be submitted.
